About Gideon
Gideon Irving represents plaintiffs in insurance coverage disputes, personal injury litigation, and civil rights cases. He cares about seeing his clients as much more than their legal problem and understands how legal issues can affect every area of a person’s life.
Gideon equally enjoys writing briefs and advocating in the courtroom, and he’s achieved notable successes in both arenas. He’s prevailed in jury trials in state and federal courts, including most recently, by obtaining a 7-figure civil rights judgment for clients who were unlawfully detained by the government. Outside of the courtroom, he’s secured 7-figure settlements for wrongfully denied insurance benefits and altered the course of litigation (and negotiation) by prevailing on crucial, strategic motions.
After graduating from Denver East High School and the University of Colorado, Gideon worked in shelters for homeless youth and then as an Outward Bound instructor and ski patroller. His work as an attorney enables him to combine his inquisitive, nerdy side with his passion for helping people. Gideon attended law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he founded the DU Law Outdoor Club, served as vice-president of the Student Bar Association, and graduated in the top 6% of his class. Prior to joining Levin Sitcoff, he served as a judicial law clerk to Chief Judge Michael A. Martinez in the Denver District Court and to Judge Joseph G. Rosania, Jr. in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado.
