We are thrilled to announce that one of our own, Susan Minamizono, has been recognized as a Denver Bar Association “Pro Bono Star”.
Susan’s pursuit of justice, coupled with her extraordinary commitment to pro bono efforts, has always stood out. Her tireless work with ALIGHT (Alliance to Lead Impact in Global Human Trafficking), dedicating around 150 hours to support a trafficking survivor, speaks volumes about her compassion and determined resolve. During her six-year tenure with RMIAN (the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network), Susan has championed justice for children in immigration proceedings to ensure they receive effective representation.
Her leadership role on the board of the Rocky Mountain Victim Law Center and her notable contributions to the Colorado Lawyers Committee’s Hate Crimes Education Task underscore her holistic approach to legal service and community engagement. In the aftermath of the devastating Marshall Fire, Susan extended pro bono legal aid to the impacted families, showcasing her dedication to our community in times of crisis.
We are incredibly proud to have Susan as a part of the LSW team and hope to match her dedication to giving back!
